A Bit About Me
Hello there! I'm Vanessa, a travel content creator and digital artist. But seeing that you made it to this page of my website...you probably already knew that. I have had a pretty wild career path and it isn't stopping anytime soon! I started as a graphic designer, added photographer and business owner to the list, changed to customer service work, did social media work freelance, went back to school to be a data analyst and now I work on a government contract as a program analyst combining all my experiences! Quite a wild ride I would say! There were parts of me during that journey (and still now from time to time) that wonder if I should have taken I different path or stayed with one thing or another but then I remind myself, I wouldn't be where I am now with out everything I have done previously. Sometimes you have to pivot and it all leads to something else that will make sense in the future.​
One thing about me (that is painfully obvious) is that I love to travel. I grew up with traveling to various places as well as family favorites. We always had a trip for spring break, the summer and sometimes in the winter. We were always exploring new places and those are the memories that I love the most and hold so close to my heart. In college, I traveled with my school's theater department and often did day excursions on the weekends with my friends. Once I moved out, that taste for travel increased only that much more. I moved to Nashville, then Orlando and as of a year ago, I have been in the greater DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. I have been loving exploring the places I call home but I have also traveled to Disneyland, Hawaii, NYC (several times), Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and so much more to come!
With all of these travels I love sharing what I get up to but mostly the tips and hacks (tricks, etc) that have helped be save money, have a more enjoyable time, get to experience once in a lifetime things, have the best food, etc. Since I have been sharing those things online and with my friends and family for long I thought I would carve another space on the internet for myself to show off all of my travel and creative finds. Here you will find travel guides for some of my favorite places or a variety of travel parties, blog posts of the many different things I get up to plus my creative work. I'm so excited to share this all with you!
